Ice

With the cold weather I knew there should be some ice formations along the brooks. On the way home this afternoon I stopped at one place where I knew the water flows quickly. I liked the patterns in the main photo. The extra shows the stream from one of the bridges and the ice that had formed on some tree branches hanging over the water.

It felt good to be back to work today. I was a little bit over on my time, but only by 15 minutes on each project. I even remembered that I was driving Marilyn's car today, so I didn't look for my truck when I left the store. I still have her car tonight, my truck is still in the shop. I asked them to check the thermostat and it does need to be replaced. They are going to do the spark plugs too. Since these are all in the same area as the valve seal covers, it makes sense to get it all done at once. Hopefully it will be ready later tomorrow afternoon.

The temperature was better today, a high of -2 C this afternoon, and the wind has died down considerably. It was nice to be able to have a short walk this afternoon on the way home.
