Northern Pintails

I stopped at Morash Pond on the way home this afternoon to see what ducks were hanging out there this year. I spotted 2 northern pintail females. I was hoping to see a male too, but he must have been at the other end of the pond or hiding on the island.

Sometimes I don't understand my fitbit. Today it said I had a 30 minute mountain bike ride at 12:50 pm. Except I do not ride a bike and I was working at the time. I did climb onto a step stool at that time. I had to respace some things on the top shelf and needed to see where the dividers needed to go. When you are 5'4" tall and the shelf is 5'6" off the floor, it makes it difficult to make sure the dividers are straight. Most of the cosmetic relines, there is no problems with spacing. With this brand, someone forgot to consider the width of the dividers because there was not quite enough space for the 2 new products. I had to put them at an angle, which the company will not be happy with. I was over on my time on both projects today. One of them did not have all of the new fixtures labelled so I had to match them with the new product. The other one I had to respace some shelves and there was nothing about that in the instructions.

I can feel it in my shoulders tonight. There is a lot of stretching and bending, and spending time on your knees in this job. It's been nice starting the season at what I consider 'my' stores this week. The 3 stores I am working at this week are stores where I have been doing relines for 10+ years. 

I got my truck back this afternoon. $2500 to get the work done. That included the valve seal covers, spark plugs, a thermostat and a new taillight.  I will need to get 2 new tires before the landscaping season starts. The guy at the shop recommended a place to go to get the remote start checked and to get the backup camera fixed.

When I dropped Marilyn's car off this afternoon and booked an Uber to take me to get my truck, first it said the wait time was 3 minutes. So I went outside to wait at the end of the driveway. When I got to the end of the driveway the wait time had changed to 6 minutes. I should have asked the driver why that happened. So I only gave him a 3 star rating and did not add a tip.

The railings are going up on my front step, he started working on them today and will finish tomorrow. He also installed a new light that shines on the driveway.
