“Solstice Glow”

We had a lie in this morning, but having got up and had breakfast, it was a beautiful sunny day, so we decided to drive downtown to the Christmas display at Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park, a Christmas tradition for us. It’s always such a beautiful sight, the Poinsettia tree, two other trees decorated with beautiful ornaments created of things from nature, and the exhibit room, with more poinsettias, cyclamen and other plants, and wonderful models of numerous Cincinnati landmarks, again all created from natural materials. A new one this year was Cincinnati airport, complete with runway and plane, and the terminal building. To complete the picture, a model railway weaves its way through and over the display.
