Christmas Eve
Spotted alongside County Wharf during our Christmas Eve walk through town was the Trinity House Vessel (THV) Patricia. Patricia is the Trinity House flagship, one of a fleet of lighthouse tenders that look after and service maritime navigation aids primarily around English and Welsh waters.
The current Patricia is the third with that name and is fitted with additional accommodation for the annual inspection voyages by the Trinity House Elder Brethren that can be hired out for voyages rather than cruises.
Having enjoyed a pasty on the pier we caught the tail end of the Harmony Choir, a century old tradition, as the moved through the town. A coffee at Events Square Discovery Quay before letting Janet & John experience the joys of the shopper bus home.
We are ready for tomorrow and looking forward to a family day.
