Back To Normality
The bed was as comfortable as it was big, I remember asking Mrs S in the wee hours if she was there, she was, just out of arms reach.
Breakfast in the main dining room consisted of virtually everything you would expect. My initial glass of grapefruit juice was quickly passed to Mrs S when I was reminded that my medication doesn’t allow for grapefruit!
Once eaten we packed the bags again and headed off westwards.
First stop was Truro and the M&S pick up, painless and simple but we weren’t collecting much. Next stop Falmouth Sainsbury’s for the big pick up, quite easy unlike the bits & pieces shop we did.
Lots of grumpy people about!
Home for ‘Fridge Tetris 2024’, we got it all in but the fridge will be working overtime for the next day or so.
Janet & John arrived minutes after we had finished putting everything away.
Mrs S, Sam, Janet & John headed off to ‘tick off’ fish and chips from the chippie, dining in, followed by a beer at the Seaview Inn to help them up the hill.
Todays photo is one from yesterday, as I was taking a photo of the tree in one of the hotel rooms I noticed the drums, Royal Marines and Royal Navy, we get everywhere.
