Our weather vane

This is our copper weather vane in the shape of a sperm whale. We brought him back from Newburyport Massachusetts in 2010, and he now presides over our garden.
Getting him back to the UK safe and sound was quite problematic, but we managed it safely although I was aching for some customs or security person to ask what we had in our luggage and to inform him that we had a sperm whale! Probably as well we were not asked for those guys are not noted for their sense of humour - especially in the USA. I might easily have ended up spending the last two years in Guantanamo!
