Maria’s birthday is the day after Luke’s, although she is younger than him by two years. All the young people were up before dawn this morning and walked up to the top of the hill behind our house with all three dogs to see the sunrise. This is Maria’s birthday porridge :-)

Sadly, Luke, Maria and Otter caught the bus back to Edinburgh at lunchtime. Tomorrow it will be the turn of Sarah, Chris and Merry. We have had such a wonderful week - Christmas and birthdays all celebrated together. Back to work in the morning.
