Still 12 days to go before the solstice, but sunset is only one minute earlier today than it will be on the 21st. This photo was taken almost an hour after the sun had set, as I left work and walked towards DG1 for a quick sauna before catching the bus home. My feet were aching a bit as I am out of the habit of standing for so long. I’m writing this with my legs up on the sofa.

It was good to be back at work, though. I like my job and I work with some nice people. We will be serving Christmas lunches tomorrow and I’m looking forward to that.

Time for tea now and then back to the sofa, I think :-) The house feels very quiet…
