The weather caused by Storm Bert has meant Maria has postponed her visit until 7th December. I feel disappointed but I am happy with her decision. Driving from Leeds to Rishton would have been challenging and potentially dangerous. We keep in touch regularly and she is moving in December to their very first house, in Horsforth on the outskirts of Leeds. It is a sought after area, with pleasant countryside nearby.
Paul and me were playing Shenanagrams for the first time. He won. It is a fun word building game suitable for all ages. Then we played Kwerkle and I won.
I braved it to the Best One shop to buy our newspaper. I wrapped up well and walked fast in the wind and heavy rain. It felt exhilarating. I won't be going out again until tomorrow. We are watching a film now, A Matter of Life and Death.
Hunter has been out twice and returned rapidly. He is still very feral and much prefers to be exploring the garden.Holly stayed indoors. They have cat litters but prefer to go in the garden.
