Our cats Hunter and Holly.
The Feast Day of Saint Clement 1.
He is remembered for saying "Peace must be the aim of all who follow Jesus."
We went to collect the two cats from Violetta last evening at 4:30pm, because Hunter had scratched her quite seriously as she tried to get him in the cat carrier. She lives in Accrington in a terraced house and there was a golden labrador in the house as well. The cats are incredibly timid and withdrawn. They are beautiful but uncommunicative. I hope they settle in and feel welcome.
We will just need to give them time and freedom to feel confident and at home here. Violetta gave us all the paperwork for the Vet to see, once we have registered the cats. Vets for Pets is the one my friend Lynn uses.
Any advice from blippers with experience of cats who hide for a long time, please share your wisdom and helpful insights.
Hunter decided to stay on the bedroom windowsill all night and Holly squeezed herself into the TV unit shelf and sat behind it underneath the flat screen television.
It is very windy this morning so I have yet to venture out to buy our newspaper. I think it will be an indoor day watching Christmas films and seeing what the cats get up to.
Thanks for dropping by and have a lovely Thursday.
