Wedding Anniversary collage.
The Feast Day of Saint Cecelia. Patron Saint of Music, musicians, hymns and poets.
Paul and me are celebrating 38 years of being married today. It was a cold sunny, blue skied November day back in 1986 when we were married in my childhood Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Annunciation in Addiscombe, Croydon. My career took me to Lancashire and I am happy living in Rishton.
We have two grown up children and two teenage grandsons.
It was exactly a year ago we adopted our dearly loved cats Hunter and Holly. Both are happy and well.
To celebrate the occasion we went to Oswaldtwistle Mills. It is looking beautiful with all the great effort they have made to make it Christmas ready.
Paul bought me a lovely pair of black shoes and I bought him some comfortable Pringle tweed slippers.
We bought suet and seed cakes for the garden birds and a few Christmas presents. Paul bought me a cream Christmas Rose called Christmas Carol and it will eventually go in the garden.
I enjoyed a careful walk in the garden area because the snow had crunchy ice on top of it. It was 1c most of the morning and rained 2:20pm.
Tomorrow Maria is coming to visit us from Leeds if the weather allows. It is hopefully going to get warmer.
Enjoy Friday blip friends, keep warm and thank you for visiting my site today.
