I woke to the sound of strong wind.and torrential rain. Parts of East Lancashire have been badly flooded, but we are okay thank goodness. The lawn continues to be very saturated but that is a small concern when I consider how serious it is for others.
It is forecast to stop raining by 1pm so I hope to go out for a walk then. Otherwise today will include prayers, crochet, reading, films and online Mass from Sheffield where they broadcast a good daily Catholic Mass from Saint Marie's Cathedral.
