Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

We are official

I had to go into Wexford to meet these two and one other.  We make up the core of the founding group of the new flute group.  A, on the right, is a flute teacher and player, M took up the flute when she retired from teaching.

We had been into the Wexford Credit Union, to sign a final document and bring away a "book" - we now have an official bank account.  M is the Secretary, E, not in the main photo, but seen in the extra that was taken by A, is the Chairperson, and I'm the Treasurer.  From next week I'll need to start dunning our members for cash!

We celebrated the formation of our group with coffee and cakes, whilst talking over the next steps.  We have a name - we had to come up with that to open a bank account - but someone needs to create a logo.

Meanwhile, W took the car into the tyre place in New Ross, as we'd developed a slow puncture whilst away in Kerry.  They found a nail, and were able to repair it.  He and our visitors then went to the supermarket for essential supplies.

W then spent a good deal of the rest of the day slaving playing in the kitchen - rusks, a samosa pie for dinner, and bread.  I went to band practice in the evening.
