Wound up in Wexford

Ballysaggartmore Towers

After a couple of action packed, frequently damp days in Kerry, we set off home in more of the same sun/rain.  But the weather cleared as we headed east, and we had no hesitation in setting off for a walk without coats.

I had read about this wonderful folly, and it makes a great walk.  Woodland, running water, an interesting bit of history, and we were lucky enough to spot a grey wagtail on the water!

After spending some time here, we stopped briefly in Lismore for photos of the castle, before finding a cafe for lunch.

In the evening I had a great session at the flute ensemble
