Tintern Abbey
A glorious sunny day. We did much the same trip around the Hook Peninsula as we had done back in July with my sister.
U and S very much enjoyed looking around Tintern Abbey and Colclough Garden, despite the fact that our visit coincided with a school visit; some 50 kids of about 8yrs old who had to be avoided.
We lunched in Fethard, which looks as if it might deserve a longer visit.
At Hook Lighthouse, I'm afraid W and I opted out of further exertions, but U and S had a really good guided tour of the lighthouse.
By the time we got home, it was getting dark and cold. Despite the clear skies, I didn't see any evidence of the Aurora when I poked my nose outside at midnight.
