Sedum
We slept until 8:00 since we weren’t planning to leave until 11:00. As I emptied the refrigerator and freezer, hubby carried the baskets to the camper. I put everything away. It’s amazing how much room we have in the refrigerator and freezer. I took a quick walk around the gardens and found this sedum from my sister hiding among the shrubs. We left at 10:30 and dropped off scones for Parker. The trip was uneventful. Abi called during the trip to ask if she could use our shower; their well pump has died. Hopefully, someone will be able to install a new one soon. We found a tasty lunch at a Mexican restaurant outside of Richmond. Their service was quick and friendly. We arrived at Powhatan State Park at 2:30. Our campsite is roomy and very private. We have a forest in front of us and a thick stand of trees behind. There is no one on either side. We were able to fit our screen house just outside our canopy. When the rain starts on Tuesday (for the rest of the week), we will only have one uncovered step to get to our dining space. The only issue we had is that the top shelf in our pantry buckled again. The wood hubby used to replace the previous broken board had a knot so the thin amount of surrounding wood snapped. He has taken the shelf to the nearest Lowe’s in hopes of finding a sturdy solution. I finished setting up camp and am now resting. My 10,000+ steps yesterday were not kind to my bum knee. But with rain in the forecast, we will have plenty of resting time this week. Hope your week will be stress feee as well. Thanks for visiting. “In a garden of greens, be the stunning pink bloom.” - unknown
