Point The Telescope & Insert The Coin, Sheerness
It was another stunning morning today - still cold but with glorious sunshine and cloudless skies. After our usual bout of exercise we decided that it would be a shame to waste the day at home so we decided on micro trip to Sheerness. The town itself was very quiet so we headed to the seafront for a perambulation and the chance to capture a photograph or two. With my main shot I really wanted to use the leading lines of the steps to create a sense of depth. I liked that the telescope was leaning at a very jaunty angle!
The first extra was another example of where I used the live view screen at full tilt - I sat as low as I could to include the washed up pebbles and shells. With the second extra I just loved the combination of different signage and with the last I spotted this old gentleman walking slowly past a balloon shop in the town. He looked so fragile but was determined to keep going.
On the way back home we stopped off at The Tudor Rose pub in Upper Upnor for a cold beverage in their lovely garden.
