Family meet up

A busy but good day.
Up to Ulverston and walked up the Gill.
 It was cool enough( cloudy with drizzle to leave Fletch in the car so we went down to the Opticians to collect Ms sunglasses which had finally arrived ( Apparently they had put in untinted lenses by mistake.! As a good will gesture the Optician said he could have the untinted lenses in another identical frame .. for nothing. Nice of them).

By then it was almost 2 and I was hungry and knew it would be an hour before ww could eat properly so I dived into Greggs for a sausage roll ( For anyone outside the UK who doesn't know Greggs , their sausage rolls are famous and absolutely  delicious. M said he'd never ever had one ( shocked gasp!) so.I bought him one. He agreed... delicious light and fluffy. 

We then drove up to Clapham.and arrived only minutes after my brother and sis in law
 
It was quite.pleasantly warm and we had a stroll.up.alongside the river to the Sawmill cafe. They had stopped serving cooked food 5 minutes earlier , but cake filled a gap.

We expected the New Inn to be quiet but then a huge crowd of bikers arrived. All Harley Davidson bikes and all riders nearer 60 than 30 
They were a group.. all 20 of them but it meant it was quite noisy when we first went to eat. Luckily we chose to eat in the bar and they all moved to the restaurant. 
A great night . Bedtime walk with Fketch need torches as this is a Dark Sky village. No stars tonight Just cloud
