Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

St Michael

After one or two house tasks this morning we headed across to Dunfermline Dobbies to pick something up. Colin's cousin's grandson is coming to visit(with his mum as he's only 15 months old) from New Zealand, in a couple of weeks. They would like to find him an inexpensive kilt so we've been keeping an eye out for a second hand one. There are a couple of very good child focused charity shops in Dunfermline so we checked them out but no luck. One offered us a tartan dress! I think she would cope with a tartan skirt, but she's not wanting to take him back to New Zealand in a dress, that's a step too far for her.
Going to Dunfermline, the traffic out of Edinburgh was bad until the centre of the bridge to Fife then it magically cleared. On the way back we hit traffic at the Dunfermline on slip so we came off at the next junction and headed for Kincardine, it's only 20 mins and the road was completely empty. We stopped in Linlithgow for lunch, hence the statue. Another delicious lunch at the Crannog cafe.
I forgot to put up the art quiz yesterday, so here it is. 9/10 for me this month.
