Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

My big girl.

She's 10 and in P7 how did that happen. We had a lovely afternoon wandering the Water of Leith and into Stockbridge. She suddenly seems so grown up. (Extra is her in her P7 sweatshirt with her name on the sleeve.)
Friday is always a busy afternoon for the girls and today their mum realised at the last minute that they needed cover as although at home their dad would be asleep.
We picked up from school, came here for lunch then I took Isobel to dancing and Eilidh and I had a wander through Stockbridge before her dance class - in a different place. We checked out the charity shops at her request and she found a David Walliams book she hadn't read and anot he er, by David Baddiel so she was very happy. We also picked up a toy she thought Bonnie would like.
We were still slightly early for her dance class when we finished, but the car had to be moved anyway so we went to Morrisons. She had a diet coke and I a coffee. There was a problem with the coffee machine but the very helpful assistant helped us out. A couple of minutes later she came across and gave Eilidh a cake (to her delight) "It would only have to go out." she said, "You might as well enjoy it!" She did!
We arrived in plenty of time for the dance class having had a fun afternoon.
Has anyone else been having problems uploading today? This has lost the thumbnail I selected and won't let me delete the picture and replace it for some reason, which usually fixes the problem.
