Roll With It

The Birthday (Continued 2)

Sunday morning and I was on the water again, first up the Rachel Row, the technical row, learning and putting into practise what we have learnt.
This was followed by the Club Row, more relaxed, more ‘blue water therapy’ than rowing but nonetheless enjoyable.

So back to Friday and having completed all that we wanted to we finished our two days away by climbing Glastonbury Tor. Sam missed rugby training so this was her way of getting some exercise in. For me, I was determined to go bottom to top at my pace but without stopping, it’s good to know you are alive!
Once at the top it was clearly worth the effort, the views magnificent and the tower worth looking at on its own.
Another of King Arthur’s burial sites.
We came down as the rain clouds appeared, at that height we had a clear view of them on the way, we made it without getting wet.
Back in the car we headed to the M5 to make our way south and head home.
A really enjoyable two days away with Sam.
