Roll With It

The Birthday (Continued)

Saturday morning and another Veterans Breakfast out at the Veterans Halt for Mrs S and I. After breakfast we had a couple of errands to run which meant a trip to the Logan’s Moor shops. There are four, including a coffee shop, but what caught our attention was the volume of traffic, Logan’s Moor is now the A30 choke point following the Carland-Chiverton Cross dialling.

Anyway back to yesterday.

Glastonbury Abbey, I got lost in myself, whilst some appeared to enter, walk round and leave Sam and I spent hours in the grounds.
Just as an aside this is now the third heritage site I have visited that claims to be the burial site of King Arthur it doesn’t detract from the visit or the story and this ruined Abbey has a grave site.
We explored, had coffee, explored some more, visited the exhibition and had a final walk around, I loved every minute of it and made my trip away.

Sam seemed equally enthused as me, it wasn’t on our original plan but it was an opportunity not to be missed.
