If you can't beat them...

This afternoon I had a visit to the optician, slightly early the test wasn't due until September.  On my last visit he had put me on to yearly check ups because of the growth of my cataracts.  I booked this check up because I know my sight is worsening.  He confirmed my fears, one eye is currently fine but the lef needs an operation.  Gulp!  It seems that sometime in the next couple of months I will be having it done.

After we got back from town we headed out towards Mungrisdale as Clickychick wanted some shots of the area.  On our way back as we entered the estate there was a "lump" in the road, as we neared it, it was clearly wandering along.  We stopped and by this time the lump had reached the curb which was above its head.  So I lifted it on to the grass and went and parked the car.  Going back it was still making its way across the grass.  It had no ticks or fleas, was moving well and bright eyed so I took a few shots as it eyed me up from behind blades of grass.  Then off it wandered.
