Juvenile Blackbird ( Turdus merula )

A day round home getting on with things that needed done but not the thing I really needed to do, cut the grass.   This lovely August weather meant it was raining.  Again.

Being busy the blip is an emergency and not a good shot.  However I used the shot because of the plumage on show.  The bird is a this year's youngster just molting out of the first feathers into darker adult plumage.
