Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Ladies who shop…

Popped to the doc this morning, and she confirmed that it’s arthritis in my shoulder, and so nothing to do with the fall. So not going to heal, either.

My new eyes are OK. Just a few grains of sand still in them, but liveable with.

JR and Hazel have gone into town on a long-planned excursion. Archie has been out a big walk - I can’t take him out, because I can’t bend down to pick up poo. I also have to stop my usual picking up of rubbish as I walk along!

I’m finding the phone screen (and iPad) too bright and mostly too small (I know both can be changed), which rules out my other favourite occupation - catching up on all the news. So it’s the Olympics all day. I must say, ball sports are MUCH better when you can see the ball.

Elizabeth arrived in the afternoon to bring flowers for the invalid AND homemade cinnamon buns!! AND to take Archie out. A triple whammy of kindnesses.

Sorry, can’t do any reading of blips, but will catch up at some point.
