That’s better!

Thank goodness when I woke up, my right eye was much better. I could open it! Funnily enough, my left eye had the cataract, but didn’t give me as much trouble yesterday as the ‘good’ eye.

As the day wore on, I was able to keep my eyes open, even though it was another sunny day.

JR helped me back down to HQ, where they did some tests, and had me reading those letters. I passed with flying colours! My eyesight is now good enough for driving! And will probably improve further.

We came back home, picked up Arch, and walked across the Meadows to the new restaurant in the old hospital. We both had the chicken, which was absolutely delicious!

Home to sit out in the back garden in the sun shade.

Phew!
