Decaying Bramble Leaves

A thoroughly wet and miserable morning…so I didn’t get out for a walk until after lunch…leaving Mrs madwill to watch the tennis final.

No butterflies and not many other insects around to photograph today, so I settled for these rather grandly coloured bramble leaves.

It did begin to rain again while I was out, but nothing too much to worry about..just that fine drizzly stuff that gets you wet!

Having a few interesting challenges with my latest model…some of the parts are smaller than the connection to the plastic sprue - and trying to cut them off results in broken parts….a few very fine pieces are about 0.5 mm thick with 3 or 4 mm connection points…I have a little pot (a plastic shot ‘glass’) with lots of casualties .. so I may just have to leave them off the model.

Next job this evening is to truss up a chicken to go in the air fryer/rotisserie for tea tonight. Makes a great roast…
