Rosebud

The forecast was for quite a bit of rain this morning and less later but we did have a few hours this morning without much rain, and even a glimpse of the sun but rain mostly since mid-afternoon. At least the garden will be happier.
I walked parkrun this morning and chatted with the tailwalker and an elderly gentleman who has achieved a lot in his younger days. I was right at the end but still came first in my age category!
The rest of the day I've done a variety of odd jobs, including the ironing, and done some more sorting of holiday info and pics. I think I'll do a photobook but have a lot to do before I get that far.
This rose was picked a few days ago, I like the splash of red.
