The Blue Jug

Another busy day. A visit to 'Matilda' to collect the bedding which means yet more washing.  Then more cleaning and gardening (the nicer of the jobs!).   The blue box is far too full of delicious cottage garden plants, all doing well, but had to cull the Nepeta savagely as it's  taking over.  Brought some in the house with
Astrantia and Cosmos.  They look very pretty in the blue jug but probably won't last very long.

My mum was a great gardener;   she had a huge veg, fruit and  wonderful cottage garden.  She would never cut flowers for the house though preferring vast arrangements of plastic flowers which I thought were quite hideous and great dust Catchers!
