Kickoff

After walking Django on a cool but humid morning, I checked through my tutorial materials and handled some last minute admin for the workshop. I then took the bus into Edinburgh with И. There we checked out the venues for the workshop, before having lunch at Scotts Kitchen, allowing us to ask a few questions about the arrangements for Thursday evening's dinner. 

When we returned to the afternoon venue, there were already people waiting, and thus began a slightly mad few hours of registration, presenting, and talking. We moved over to the Pear Tree midway, where the weather was fine, the football was exciting, and the chat was friendly.
