Coffee

On the eve of the workshop, I gave up the struggle to provide coffee and tea when I discovered that we couldn't have catering in the building we are using and it would cost £480 for coffee/tea twice for 50 to be provided at a venue that people would have to walk to. The lanyards arrived, and we made up the badges. In the evening, A, И and I went into Edinburgh to have dinner with a favourite collaborator. A was keen to go because he and his fiancée had been on a cruise to Antarctica at Christmas, and we're keen to do so there or in the Arctic.
