A walk to some lakes

I got up to fetch something in the night and stumbled on a step, landing heavily on my backside and hitting my head on the coatrack (and also breaking a fancy dish). I was a bit sore and annoyed as I realised after I hadn't needed to go near the step.
No major harm done and I was able to walk, albeit slowly and carefully, and we completed our planned walk to some lakes in the Neouvielle National Park. 
Once again the flowers were wonderful and there were some new ones, so slow progress was fine.
It was busy, including lots of school kids in groups, and as we got near the end of the steep descent we witnessed a helicopter rescue from the path we'd been on. They landed by the carpark and the casualty was one of the kids who'd hurt his leg, but seemed fine otherwise.
Tried to load an extra of a flower but can't
