Into the hills
Another lovely day, sunny and a bit breezy.
The provisional plan was to walk up to a mountain refuge and then further up to lake, part of a hydro scheme, but we only got as far as the refuge. The path went on a well-graded path up some steep woods and then a narrow engineered path along a gorge before we got to the point in the pic. The hut was further up and then we should have turned left. However, there were numerous information posts about everything to do with the area (though we didn't read them all) and flowers everywhere so we weren't very fast.
We got to the hut and ate our lunch, went a little bit further, then returned having decided we didn't have the time or energy for the next climb.
We think it was about 13k but the GPS signal kept dropping and I didn't even get a trace of the route.
It was a good walk, even shortened, and we stopped for shopping on the way a.
