Reflections

The forecast was for rain this afternoon though we've not had any.
The plan was for a gentler day and we opted for a walk to the lake in the next valley. It turned out to have more climbing than any of the others as we didn't drive as far as we thought we would, but the terrain was generally easier and it was only about 11k.
Most of the route was a well-graded cobbled or grassy track with a short, sharp slope at the end but it was well worth it, quite different from yesterday's lakes.
It would have been very peaceful but for a group of people running around and filming.
Again lots of flowers, a couple of orchids in extra.
Back for very late lunch and not much since, though Mr Rat had a run and found some ticks!
