Holiday 10. Back blip

Home today. Rather grey again and still very warm and humid after an early moring shower.
We got packed up without much trouble though the tent was still damp in places after the shower - typical, but at least it wasn't soaked.
Headed round to Ennerdale for a short walk to see how it looks now as the plantations are gradually being felled and natural vegetation allowed in, definitely more inviting. The river bed is rather attractive. It must be nearly 30 years since we were last there!
The sun came out again, which meant rather a warm drive home but there were no holdups so not too late back. The tent was spread out in the hall, things needing to be aired taken out of bags and the washing got ready for the morning.
A good holiday, despite the heat, in fact it made us slow down a bit and not try to do too much.
