All things bright and beautiful

We woke to a lovely morning with sunshine, and no rain so we were able to decamp in comfort.

An easy and scenic trip up to Northumberland where we arrived at our campsite just outside Hexham.  I just adore this wonderful County,  such huge skies, fabulous views of patchwork  fields, walls!, rivers and stunning old trees as far as the eye can see with lots of interesting history and geology which we hope to explore some of in the days to come.

Sadly the lovely start to the day soon deteriorated and by 3m we were back to ....... Rain. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
