Quaker Tapestry Museum

It's been another rainy night and still raining this morning so we enjoyed a lie in.  Then I cooked brunch in the Remoska:  mushrooms and spinach topped with poached eggs and enjoyed watching the Trooping of the Colour.

As the weather didn't improve a fell walk didn't seem inviting so we looked for something to do in Kendal and were very glad to find the Quaker Tapestry Museum which kept us enthralled all afternoon. The exhibition was stunning and I loved all the  embroidery and learning all about Quaker history,  and look what I came away with*
