On the winch

It has been a beautiful day and I accompanied Mr HB up to the Gliding Club to return the re-packed parachutes.  On the way we  called into a large NEXT shop in the Meole Brace Retail Outlet in Shrewsbury where I got my query about using my Gift Voucher on the online order yesterday dealt with in a flash by a most helpful young lady.  My order will be at the store tomorrow, but I have 10 days to go and collect it.
 
We had a lovely drive up to the Gliding Club, lots of sheep, lambs and the wild ponies and wonderful views all around.   We had hoped for a cup of something when we got there but the Club Café was closed, as Jess had had to pop out somewhere.  Not a problem, we went over to the launch point and chatted to the winch driver, soaked up the views and watched the gliders take off on their exciting flights and some good landings. My blip is of our friend C, an instructor, taking off in a K13 Glider.
