Towson Tournament, Day One

We were out the door by 7:00 am. Traffic wasn’t bad at all. We got to the school with no problem. Jamie and other parents had already set up out “tent city”. Getting to it with our loaded wagon was a challenge but we made it. We watched the first game on the metal bleachers. It was in full sun. We won. We enjoyed sitting the shade for an hour or so. I had packed us a full lunch that was easy and tasty. We stood in the shade for the second game. We won again. We had a longer break so hubby and I rested/maybe even napped. Parker sent a pic of same to the grands who thoroughly qenjoyed it. The sun had moved where there was shade on part of the bleachers. I enjoyed watching that game even better but we lost. It was a rough game. The opposing players were way too rough even for lacrosse. As hubby said, their coach should not be proud of how his team won. Parker puts his heart and souls into every game but he is not mean spirited. It felt so good to get into our air conditioned hotel room. There were only Porta potties at the games - yuck! We found a great TexMex restaurant a few blocks from here. Otherwise,it will be a quiet evening. I hope your weekend is successful so far. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “IT'S NOT THE WILL TO WIN THAT MATTERS EVERYONE HAS THAT. IT'S THE WILL TO PREPARE TO WIN THAT MATTERS.” - BEAR BRYANT
