Vathy Visit

Midday we left our villa to drive to Vathy (Ithaca, Ionian Islands, Greece) to get our return ferry tickets to Kefalonia next week.

We had a walk around the town just before many close for the 1pm siesta that's so common of mediterranean countries. Whilst Mrs BB was in the shop looking at dresses (again!) I liked this colourful table and chairs outside - it'd brighten up even a UK garden on a dull day!

We had a couple of hours on Filiatro beach (extra) nr Vathy, It's very commercial and busy there so we won't rush back but good to try it out!

We're off out to a bar-b-cue tonight having been invited with our friends earlier in the week. The host is known for his hospitality and it might be a late night!
