Beware steep gradients
We reached Oban this afternoon. First we drove from Ullapool to Mr hazelh's uncle and aunt's house in Benderloch. There we changed into our cycling clothes, loaded the paniers onto our bikes and rode into town, mainly on cycle paths. This warning sign appears about two thirds of the way along the route. We managed all the steep gradients :-)
We played 'hunt a curry' this evening. This became quite an expedition because we took a long route looking for a restaurant that has gone out of business. Happily we found a substitute, ate well, and are ready for an early night at the Maridon guest house. Our ferry to Coll leaves at 07:15 tomorrow morning.
Exercise today: 10 mile cycle ride; walking (7,201 steps).
