Back to Ullapool by ferry

We're now back on the mainland after a very easy crossing from Stornoway in the summer sunshine. I blipped this red ferry funnel(?) when I took a wander around the boat in the middle of our two Scrabble games (one an easy win for me due to lucky letter selections, the second a closer game with a win for Mr hazelh). It was much warmer outside than I anticipated, with many people sunning themselves on the decks.

Coming up the ramp at Ullapool we were really happy (and relieved) that there wasn't a four hour drive back to Edinburgh ahead of us. Instead we are staying at the Ceilidh Place overnight, then setting off south tomorrow for Part 2 of our summer holiday.
