Vrynwy from above

A rare Saturday with nothing on today so I decided to stick the bike in the car and head over to Lake Vrynwy for a cycle. The last few times I’ve been here, it’s been for the half marathon and so it was really nice to just enjoy the lake and not have any pressure. I forgot how beautiful it is. After a loop of the lake, I had a picnic in the sun and then walked up a trail to see the lake from above. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the water today, including a dog on a paddle board wearing a little life-jacket (the owner was there too, obvs).

I still had some energy to burn when I got home so did a little 3 mile round the block to kick off our ‘Dalmally to Malawi’ challenge. I’m donating a pound for every mile I run to Mary’s Meals this June.
