Work in progress

A lovely day out of the office today. Mum joined me as we pottered around Shrewsbury on various work (and other) errands. Highlights were getting a lovely dress for Ellie’s wedding for £7 in Oxfam (it shouted at me from the window) and the second trip to the new ice-cream shop in a week (both of us went for banoffee).

This afternoon I started work on transforming an old oil drum into a display table for MM at the Food Fest. It’s still a work in progress but I think it’s going to be good.

It was so nice to get out of the office today. I’m thankful that June is going to me much more of an ‘out and about’ month as I’m not so fond of endless days at the desk.
