Family outing

Between showers, we manage a quick trip to RSPB Conwy. I’m hoping for butterflies, but I suspect it’s just too cool and damp.  From one of the hides, we spot a Canada goose family, the parents on guard while the little ones potter round the reeds. They’re very hard to photograph, hidden as they are by vegetation.

These are tiny goslings, quite new and clearly needing lots of supervision. Mum and dad decide to move the family across the lagoon, and the little group are gathered together to follow one parent, the other bringing up the rear, and in this neatly ordered formation, off they go - my blip today.
