Mostyn Gallery

A quick pop to Llandudno and lunch in the Mostyn Gallery cafe gives me the opportunity to photograph the view from the stairwell in the Mostyn Gallery.

Architecture like this is unusual in Llandudno where the Mostyn Estate planning laws have preserved the beauty of the seaside crescent. Of course, the Edwardian facade of the gallery remains untouched, but inside there is the beauty - in my opinion - of these wonderful lines of board marked cast concrete.

Although I’ve chosen a low key mono edit to bring out the drama - much better viewed large , it’s actually a beautiful light filled structure.

Thanks to Bobsblips for hosting.
