Floods

 Constant rain, runoff, puddles and  floods caused traffic jams across the city, including the by-pass. 

On our way home from the Flumlet's we joined the A702, joining a queue then crawled for 50 minutes when, miraculously, at the 3-way junction the queue melted away and the rest of the journey was quite straightforward, unlike those we could see heading west on the by-pass.
Normally this journey takes fifteen minutes; today, just over an hour.

Our yellow warning continues until 3am. Take care, y'all, the water may be deep, those rivers are running high and fast.
