Love In The Pet Shop

Popped in to the big green pet store for bird food. This is now displayed near the back of the shop so we were entertained as we made our way towards the till by watching the animals - first some crickety-type insects who appeared to severely dislike each other, perhaps the proximity to the live mealworms upset them.

Then these cute murine beasties in a divided cage - what passion caused the brown one to claw so desperately at the perspex between them and the white one to sit waiting as closely as possible for the breakthrough that never came?
