Not "Déjeuner sur l'herbe"

Instead it was "déjeuner sur la plage" both for them and us. Mrs TT and I went down to the coast for the day ostensibly for a hospital appointment. The scene reminded me of the famous painting. I did some shopping in Decathlon for clothes and sports equipment. We had a walk around the lake at Canet hoping to spot some flamingos but there were none. After lunch on the beach, we had coffee to kill some time before the appointment only to find that it is actually on Monday! It had been incorrectly transcribed onto the calendar! It was not exactly a wasted day but a further wait for the interpretation of recent tests.
