Azaleas and a Pink

Up early once again. Hubby had the KofC breakfast, I had final preps before our trip. The morning seemed to fly by and I was not ready when hubby got back home. All those easy and brief jobs just add up. I ran out between jobs to capture these azalea and pink blossoms. They will probably have finished blooming when we get back. Just as I thought we were finally ready, I remembered we had to cover the blueberry bushes with my netting bags. Hubby was hoping to be on the road by noon. We finally pulled out of the driveway at 2:25. Parker stopped by with my BIL to deliver an early birthday gift: an oak barrel planter for my herbs. The one I have has finally deteriorated. Today is Jamie and Renee’s anniversary. I think it’s 24 years. How the years have flown by. It has rained on and off all day. We are hoping it will be down to a drizzle when we arrive at the camp site. Should be there soon (ETA 5:34 pm). And then the fun of setting up camp begins. Millie has rested in her kitty carrier during the entire trip. I am sure she will be happy to get out and get a drink. I will. Hoping your weekend was at least a little sunny. Stay safe.
